Hindutva a cultural ideology 

Hindutva is a cultural and civilisational ideology and everybody living in India should consider himself a Hindu, said RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat at a function here on Sunday.

Addressing RSS foot soldiers, Mr. Bhagwat said the Rashtriya Swaysewak Sangh had always worked for the interests of India. “In the past there have been several attacks on the RSS, but the Sangh has always worked for the unity of the country.”

Without referring to the Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre, Mr. Bhagwat considered the present times as “positive” for the ideology of Hindutva and the RSS. Contrary to expectations from the media, he didn’t comment on the prediction of the exit polls about the “bad” performance of the BJP in Delhi elections..
