Menace of ‘Youth Radicalization’

New Delhi: As we aware that, Violent Extremism on Social Media and the ‘Radicalization of Youth’ becomes a Top Challenge for many societies today and it threatening the ‘Fundamental Rights’ of citizens, across the world. On the one hand, Violent extremism is an affront to the doctrines of the UN, embodied in Universal Human Rights and fundamental freedoms, with a mandate to foster Solidarity and cooperation by communication, talks and information, supports its Member States and Civil Society actors in responding to extremism and radicalization on the Internet by many ways..

Whereas, On the other hand, The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has also said that Radicalization of populace, particularly youth, is another trend and one of the most challenging problems being faced the world over. Further, Addressing the Fourth Counter Terrorism Conference on  ‘Changing Contours of  Global Terror’ in Gurugram, Haryana Rajnath Singh said. “several countries in the world have identified this problem and have taken measures to check and control the process of radicalization and I am happy to state that India has timely busted some modules that were planning to orchestrate terrorist attacks on her soil”..

Although, It is in this context that UNESCO releases the study titled ‘Youth and Violent extremism on social media’. Further, This field of study/work provides us a global mapping or insight of research (2012-17) into the assumed roles played by Social Media in violent radicalization processes, especially as they affect Child, Youth and Women across all the regions of the globe.. In the cycle of radicalization, youth “in radicalization”, contemplating a transition from thought to action, represent the highest risk for society as well as the most difficult challenge for engagement.

Building a powerful Health, Educational, industrial and technical sector is always on top of the agenda for policy makers and those governing the country, India or the world. In India, Such sector not only provides good for internal or external consumption and trans-national exports but also have highest role in offering employment to the Youth of the country. With the same light, the MSME sector employs nearly 11 crore people and contributes to around 17% of the GDP. The sector, however, faces many challenges like timely access to credit, lack of infrastructure, Inability to resource technology for upgradation as also skilled manpower, access to marketing facilities etc..

Artificially, “many highly educated youth is selling PKODA to show the unemployment crisis in India”. At the same time selling Pkoda is a kind of employment, Said, PM of India. Replying to the Narendra Modi P. Chidambaram has also said that, “even selling pkodas is a job said PM, even begging is a job. Let’s count poor or disabled persons who are forced to beg for living as ’employed’ people”. Unfortunately, such kind of statement generate for massive room with the same regard. Result, Youth Radicalization and Violent Extremism..

As you know, the both statement given by tycoons of Indian Politics is a joke on the banner or behalf of unemployment. How can they say begging and seeling Pkodas is a kind of job. Is parents are giving education to their child to sell Pkodas and for begging? Some of elements are taking advantage of PM’s Pkoda making statement to gain the popularity and even some of students are earning money to be a pkoda seller too. At the same time opposition party want to take advantage of PM’s statement because they don’t have any other work to do, just they want to criticize the ruling party not to make any kind possible solution of this problem.

Notably, you cannot have a batter social system when you find yourself low in the scale of political rights, nor can you be fit to exercise political rights and privileges unless your social system is based on reason and justice. You cannot have a good economic system when your social arrangements are imperfect. If your religious ideas are low and grovelling, you cannot succeed in ensuring equal status for women, child, youth and the access to opportunities for all is the ultimate that would bring independence to the people of India.

The study provides no definitive evidence on a direct link between the specificities of social media and violent radicalization outcomes on youth. Likewise, there is no definitive evidence about the impact of counter-measures. Nevertheless, as a whole, the literature does point towards some possible understandings about the same. Further, The study concludes that research on the subject is still at a budding stage, and it urges caution about the results and interpretations.

While It shows that violent extremists use characteristics of social media to attract younger and educated audiences, to disseminate extremist, violent and criminal content, to identify potential participants, and foster one-on-one dialogue’ with young people. Actual violent radicalization is not reducible to Internet exposure, but generally entails the mediation of several complex processes, including complex social-psychological processes and person-to-person communication in conjunction with other offline factors.

Government need to create more government jobs to stop or break the cycle of Youth Radicalization and also will have to invest a lot of money in the organised sector so that it may become a employment platform for the Indian youth.. For the making way out of this, it will have to take a transformative action towards the increasing population of India and the world. The need for a comprehensive sustained approach, and the costs and unintended consequences associated were in the following discussed and examined.
